The U.S. Energy Department today announced up to $35 million in available funding to advance hydrogen and fuel cell technologies that will reduce the country’s dependence on foreign oil and cut harmful carbon emissions. As part of the Administration’s all-of-the-above energy strategy, this funding will accelerate American innovation in hydrogen and fuel cell technologies by supporting research and development, early market deployments, and domestic manufacturing. The DOE also aims to develop collaborative consortia for fuel cell performance and durability and advanced hydrogen storage materials research to leverage the capabilities of national lab core teams.

The available funding includes hydrogen production, delivery, and storage research and development (R&D); demonstration of infrastructure component manufacturing, and support for Climate Action Champions deploying hydrogen and fuel cell technologies; consortia topics for fuel cell performance and durability and advanced hydrogen storage materials research; and cost and performance analysis for hydrogen production, storage, and fuel cells.

Fuel cells generated major headlines and excitement in 2015 as automakers delivered fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) to customers in select locations around the world and unveiled new models and market introduction strategies. Commercial leases began in the U.S. and Japan in 2014 and 2015, and several automakers are now selling their commercial FCEVs in California and Japan.

As FCEVs become increasingly commercially available, the Energy Department is focused on advancements to enable hydrogen infrastructure including production, delivery, storage, and manufacturing, as well as continuing to reduce fuel cell cost and improve durability. This FOA includes highly targeted and collaborative lab-led consortium projects in both fuel cells and hydrogen storage technologies.

The FOA includes four general areas of interest, each with several subtopics:

  • Research and Development (R&D)
    • Hydrogen Production R&D: High-Temperature Water Splitting compatible with renewable and sustainable energy sources
    • Advanced Compression
    • Advanced vacuum insulation for automotive applications
  • Demonstration and Deployments
    • Component Manufacturing and Standardization for hydrogen Infrastructure (e.g., hose/piping, dispenser/station technologies)
    • Crosscutting: America’s Climate Action Champions
  • Consortia Topics
    • Fuel Cell – Performance and Durability (FC-PAD)
    • Hydrogen Storage Materials – Advanced Research Consortium (HyMARC)
  • Analysis
    • Cost and Performance Analysis for Fuel Cells
    • Cost and Performance Analysis for Hydrogen Storage
    • Cost and Performance Analysis for Hydrogen Production and Delivery

DRIVE THE FUTURE

LICENSING AND CONTRACTING

XP’s industry-leading patents are available for licensing or purchase. XP’s services and builds are available for contracting on a “time and materials” basis.

TECHNOLOGY

A variety of interesting materials from the technology teams that got stone-walled: Part of the work, and expenses for staff, insurance, engineering, legal, etc; that the U.S. Department of Energy and the State of California induced applicants to undertake, when those government officials already, covertly, knew that all of the funds had been secretly “hard-wired” for campaign financiers. Those government representatives must now take responsibility […]

XP ENGINEERING

Background of the technologies that XP works with. Many of these are trade-secret and/or patented technologies that XP developed in-house. Every component has been tested in industry. OMNI-FUEL TM A modular engine and hot swap fuel system that allows you to instant re-fuel/recharge in seconds and change your entire engine type in 2 hours.   FLAT PACK SYSTEMS: The advantages include low cost and easy […]

More Advantages

Unlike competing solutions, the only exhaust material is drinkable water Unlike competing solutions, you can get all of the fuel raw stock right inside your own state Unlike competing solutions, there is no need to invade any other country for the materials Unlike competing solutions, the exhaust material does not cause cancer In a fire, it dissipates faster than any other fuel and, essentially, self-extinguishes […]

LICENSING –

Q. Can I buy all of your patents, out right?

A. Yes. Please provide us with an offer.

Q. My company may be infringing your patents, can I liscense your patents in order to avoid infringement litigation?

A. Yes. Please provide us with an offer.

INVESTING –

Q. Can I invest in volume manufacturing run of your products

A. Yes. You could pay the factory set-up costs and then retain part of the profits

Q. How much does it cost to invest in energy technologies?

A. Most existing energy companies have invested many hundreds of billions of dollars in their technology, and many billions, annually, seeking to dis-inform the market, and politicians, about competing technologies. That being said, our company: THE POWER has a unique position in the market. We have customers on our waiting list that we can service today, after outside investors participate with us for commitments as low as one million dollars. The size of your investment would be determined by how much money you want to make on your investment. Dramatic market impact can be delivered from between $1M and $1B participations in a $1T+ market.

Can I buy in volume to sell at Costco, Walmart or similar high volume retailer?

A. Yes. You front the manufacturing set-up costs and you receive a percentage of the profits

Q. Can you accept 10 and 20 dollar crowd-funding amounts so that the public can help bring this to market?

A. We do not currently have a U.S. JOBS ACT (“crowd-funding”) site set-up, but we are looking into the potential. If you want to invest in a potential crowd-funding project, send us an email, and will put you on a standby list.

Q. What are the guidelines to being an investor?

A. All investments involve risk. The price to play to potentially make huge profits is the risk you make with your money. In any investment, you could lose all of your money. You should never invest more money than you can afford to lose. You should not invest in technology companies unless you have read a large amount of material from both pro and con writers regarding that technology. Because the energy market is so large (in the trillions of dollars), competitors have spent many, many billions of dollars publishing false-hoods about competitors because they know that many of these new technologies could put them out of business. During your investor due-diligence, if you come across any competitor “slams”, bring them to us and challenge us to counter each negative competitor comment. We never met a Troll or Meat Puppet slam we could not counter-point with hard scientific facts. You should be a “sophisticated investor” who has a securities lawyer and a financial advisor, and who has past investment experience.

Q. Can I invest less than a million dollars?

A. Yes, but you, or we, need to get a few other investors together to aggregate investments so that the full amount from the group of investors is over a million dollars. This is called “forming an investment syndicate”.

Q. What do I get for my investment?

A. A percentage of the profits and a percentage of the company and the knowledge that you helped grow something amazing

Q. Do I need a lawyer to help me with the paperwork?

A. Yes. We require that you have a lawyer who is specialized in “Securities law” (Stocks and bonds and corporate finance) to work with us on the investment contracts.

Safety –

Q. Does your system blow up more than competing systems?

A. NO, our systems don’t spontaneously blow up like competing technologies. There have been over one hundred million miles of on-the-road Fuel Cell Vehicles (FCV’s) operating for over a decade without incident. There have been many more fires with far more damage from Lithium ion and petroleum-only based systems.

Q. What is the exhaust material from your technology?

A. Drinkable water.

Q. Lithium ion battery advocates and Fuel Cell advocates always seem to argue about which competing technology is better.

Which is safer, less of a risk to national security, and has more advantages?

A. This document, produced by auto industry experts, provides the facts. Take a look, and decide for yourself: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE ADOBE PDF DOCUMENT
